Where is Vaujany?
In the Isere Valley, Romanche, high in the French Alps. The area is also known as the Oisans. Vaujany is just across the valley from Alpe d’Huez and 90 minute transfer from Grenoble.

Is the Resort Snow-sure?
Yes it is. The resort benefits from the Pic Blanc glacier at 3300m and is also open during the summer! The Ski Club of Great Britain’s Historical Snow Report shows Vaujany having an average minimum of 82cm and maximum of 300cm throughout the whole season (mid-December to late-April).

What else is there to do (other than ski and board)?
Vaujany has stunning forest Raquettes walks (aka snow shoeing). There is also paragliding, husky dog sledging in Alpe d’Huez, ski touring and walking, bowling, ice skating not to mention relaxing in the Leisure centres and spa facilities. Please see our 'Other Activities' page
Where is the closest airport?
Grenoble is the closest airport to the Southern side of the French Alps. It is about 90 minutes transfer by coach and even quicker by car.

How do I get to Vaujany?
Try the 'Getting There page.' Follow the signs for Lyon and then Grenoble…Take the A480 from Grenoble and exit the road at junction 8 ‘Vizille – stations de l’Oisans’’ then take the main road RN91 to Bourg d’Oisans. At Rochetaille take the left onto the D527 towards Allemont and Vaujany. We will give more detailed travel directions in your holiday pack.

What are your changeover days?
Ski Peak changeover days in Chalet Saskia are Saturday whereas our other properties are Sunday.

How do I pay, and when?
We accept debit/credit cards, cheques or direct bank transfers. Your booking is secured by a 30% deposit of accommodation costs. Your holiday balance is payable 8 weeks prior to departure.

Should I get ski insurance?
Yes Definitely. We strongly recommend to all our guests that they have comprehensive winter sports travel insurance. This is also a requirement of our booking terms and conditions. The cover given on most credit cards is usually not good enough. In addition to this cover we recommend you add the ‘Carte Neige’ insurance on to your Vaujany ski pass, it’s about £2 per day and ensures your evacuation off the mountain. In the event of an accident, you are transported from the slopes to the hospital and all charges are taken care of without additional cost or bureaucracy.
Extra Services

We will always try to work around your schedule. As a small specialist tour operator exclusively providing luxury holidays to Vaujany, we have the flexibility often missing from larger companies.

Be it to organise a quick second break, a weekend get-away for a large group or perhaps a corporate weekend, we can tailor make a break that meets all your requirements.
